Purina® Pets for Seniors - I'm Interested

Enrollment for Purina® Pets for Seniors happens in the fall of every year for the following calendar year.

Membership criteria

    All organizations who would like to be considered for the Pets for Seniors program:
    • Must have a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status with a determination letter from the IRS.
    • May not have a contract with a competitive pet food manufacturer.

Program requirements

  • Organizations that meet membership criteria should indicate their interest in joining next year's program no later than October 31st of the current year.  Selected shelters are offered annual agreements in November for the following program year (January 1st-December 31st).
  • To qualify for each $50 reimbursement from Purina, you must submit online adoption reimbursement information within 60 days from the date of the adoption, for each pet adopted by a qualified senior.
  • You must use at least 80% of your available reimbursement funds from the current program year to be considered for renewal the following program year.
